One of the lesser-known procedures conducted by our top plastic surgeons, but nonetheless beneficial to the patients of the past
who have received it, is the Male Breast Reduction. This operation targets
excess breast tissue in the male breast, a problem known as male gynecomastia. It
might seem surprising, but 30 to 60% percent of men develop excess fat of the
breast over the course of their lives. If this fat becomes excessive, it
can usually be removed through liposuction from We Know Beauty. In some cases, the fat develops to
such an extent that our board certified plastic surgeons might recommend a male breast
reduction.
In order to correct gynecomastia, our surgeon will make the
necessary incisions is such a way that they will blend with the natural contours of the
body. For best results, the physician may reposition the nipples to render a
placement that is more typical of a man’s form. At We Know Beauty, male breast reduction is performed as an out-patient procedure by some of the best plastic surgeons in the country. Following the surgery, the male patient is able to resume
most normal activities after a couple days.
Whether the gynecomastia resulted from a hormone
imbalance or from being overweight, our leading surgical team can rectify the
problem. If you are a male in need of a reduction of the breast, please call
our office to set up a complimentary consultation.

Shopping for Beauty
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is surviving Black Friday okay.
Anyhow, the fact of the is that board certified plastic surgeons don't go crazy putting up specials for Black Friday, much less Cyber Monday. Yet the reality is that our customers do shop for our services, just like any other product. It's natural to be price conscious when obtaining surgery, particularly -- as is the case with most elective plastic surgeries -- when the cost is not covered by insurance.
It has nothing to do with how well off a patient is or is not. Even some of the wealthiest people in the world remain concerned they are paying a fair price for any product or service they buy, no mattter what it is -- that's often how they got wealthy in the first place. Still, deciding which doctor is among the best plastic surgeons for you is a lot different between deciding whether it's worth spending an extra $1.00 for the name brand of cereal as opposed to your supermarket's cheaper generic version.Your appearance and your health are involved, after all.
While we understand that money is important in today's world, and there's no getting around that, we would like to suggest that it makes more sense to first find out who are top plastic surgeons before you ask yourself any other important questions. We know this might be a shock but Thanksgiving weekend is a good time to remember that there are some things more important than money.

Grown-Up Bond Girl Has the Right Idea -- For Her
Because this year is the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movies and "Skyfall" happens to be the biggest movie in the world this week, everyone associated with the enormous super-franchise seems to be coming out of the woodwork. That's not a bad thing. In particular, we're all fascinated to see how some of the earlier "Bond girls" have matured over the years. Our favorite so far is Jane Seymour.
If you really know your Bond movies, you likely remember the lovely Ms. Seymour as the mysterious Solitaire from "Live and Let Die," the first in the series to feature Roger Moore as Bond. If you remember the 1980s, you probably remember her as "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman." Now, of course, it's a whole different century and Ms. Seymour, now 61, is loud and proud when it comes to the topic of plastic surgery and has apparently darkened the doorstep of a few highly qualified board certified plastic surgeons over the years. She told The Christian Post that, at different times in her life she had work done on her eyes and, after breastfeeding her children, had had breast augmentation surgery.
However, she also noted with pride that she hadn't had work done on her face and avoids Botox. Her argument was that anything that could reduce the mobility of a face was problematic for actors. Also, she said she was "proud' of her wrinkles. All we can say is that it's easy for a woman who looks as amazing as Ms. Seymour to say that. If she told us the best plastic surgeons in the world had labored to create her lovely, natural look, we also would have believed her.
We imagine if Ms. Seymour's wrinkling had been more significant she might have been slightly less proud of those wrinkles, but she's obviously done something right! The point is, of course, that everyone should have done work that makes them feel more comfortable. If you love your face just the way it is, wrinkles and all, that's fine but if other body parts really do seem to crimp your personal style, well, that's we come in. If it's the other way around, also great. We're all different.

A Facelift During Lunchtime?
The board certified plastic surgeons of We Know Beauty would like to clear up some common misconceptions of the "lunchtime facelift", a term that is often tossed around these days.
First of all, the lunchtime facelift is synonymous with natural facelift or non-invasive facelift. A lunchtime facelift is very different than a surgical facelift. In a nutshell, the procedure consists of rejuvenation treatments that could be completed during a woman's lunch break.
During the process, no incisions are made. The non-invasive lunchtime facelift consists of a combination of Botox treatments. Fillers like Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse are administered by the trusted medical professionals at We Know Beauty. When receiving these treatments, it is important the appropriate amount of gel is used. The We Know Beauty staff expertly makes the needed adjustments for the most successful results.
A surgical facelift may be in order for the patient dealing with extreme skin issues, such as sagging of the face and neck. But to encourage a fresh, youthful appearance and vanquish the fine wrinkles that come with age, women and men may choose the lunchtime facelift. The non-invasive treatment brings undeniable improvements to a person's appearance, minus the extended recovery period that accompanies surgical facelifts. We Know Beauty puts the client in touch with the best plastic surgeons in Los Angeles. All of our surgeons can confidently perform the facelift that is right for you.
The expert cosmetic surgeons at We Know Beauty will recommend the lunchtime facelift if they think its returns will satisfy your beauty expectations. Call to set up a complimentary consultation with one of our top plastic surgeons today!

We Ask Who Had Work Done, You Decide
A fun slide show in today's Daily Caller had us thinking.
No doubt many political pundits would think it was height of shallowness to discuss which presidential and vice presidential candidates and their wives have had cosmetic procedures, and considering the serious issues at stake in this year's race, it's hard to argue with that. On the other hand, even top board certified plastic surgeons chat among themselves about politicians as well as show business celebrities when it comes to the topic of who had work done and who, well, should have work done.
The truth of the matter is that the traditional divide between entertainers and politicians has grown thinner and thinner over the centuries and decades and the evidence may be right before us when it comes to cosmetic procedures. Certainly, those of us old to remember the way Joe Biden looked in the 1980s don't need to be top plastic surgeons to be pretty darn confident about the likelihood of his hair plugs.
The president's ears can actually be almost painful for us to look at, because we know how easy it would have been for him to receive ear pinning surgery back when he was still little Barry Obama. If Mrs. Obama has had any work done at all, on the other hand, it's clearly been from one of the very best plastic surgeons out there, because it's hard to think of a thing we'd change there.
As for Governor and Mrs. Romney, they look downright amazing for a couple in their sixties. How much is genetics and healthy living? Probably quite a lot. On the other hand, considering the political atmosphere these days, we certainly wouldn't blame them if they gave mother nature a small surgical helping hand.

Patients Love to See Before and After Pictures
The board certified plastic surgeons of We Know Beauty have learned plenty about human behavior in their decades upon decades of experience with plastic and reconstructive surgery. One example is that people who are weighing having a cosmetic procedure love to see before and after photos of the procedure that they're considering. These pictures are informative—showcasing a doctor's skill and the power of plastic surgery—and they also stir the imagination.
More relevant pictures than what are shown on the We Know Beauty website can be shown at a complimentary consultation. This, as well as other details of the procedure, can be openly and compassionately discussed and a potential patient will leave the consultation feeling fully informed.
After all, meeting with one of the top plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills is simpler than ever with We Know Beauty. Many call one of our representatives at 800-832-0510 and schedule a complimentary consultation. Others who may be a bit shy or reticent opt for our online appointment request form. It's an easy-to-use form that allows the current or new patient to easy schedule a meeting, including location, date, and time.
Whichever option an interested patient chooses, the best plastic surgeons in Los Angeles at We Know Beauty are incredibly approachable and available to meet at one of many locations: Beverly Hills, Encino, Inland Empire, Pasadena, Valencia, and Thousand Oaks.

Doral Surgery: Spring for a Great Doctor!
Spring for a great doctor, like the board certified plastic surgeons at We Know Beauty, or the results could be terrible.
ABC News and its affiliates do some good reporting about bad cosmetic surgery these days. It makes us wonder sometimes if a high-ranking journalist didn’t get burned by an unlicensed or disreputable surgeon. Earlier this year they reported on California’s statewide crackdown on medispas that get away with operating without a licensed doctor.

It makes us wonder sometimes if a high-ranking journalist didn’t get burned by an unlicensed or disreputable surgeon. Earlier this year they reported on California’s statewide crackdown on medispas that get away with operating without a licensed doctor.
Isabel Gonzalaez paid about $900 to get facial injections
from a business called “Viviana's Body Secrets,” in Doral, FLA. The owner, however, was an unlicensed massage therapist,
allegedly not in any way certified to give facial injections. Poor Isabel spent
two months in the hospital when swelling and infections set in. She may never
be the same.
“There's a misperception that it's like getting your hair
done," said ASAPS president Dr. Leo R. McCafferty. But he goes on to
emphasize that plastic surgery is inherently safe when the doctors and the
facilities are top notch.
At We Know Beauty, you can trust that your procedures are being done by some of the best plastic surgeons working today. Don't take a risk when the consequences can be this dire.
