Kylie Jenner Leading the Charge Toward Plastic Surgery Acceptance

With her family’s television show, Kylie Jenner has been in the national spotlight ever since she was a kid. Now, in a new interview with Cosmo, she revealed that, while she hasn’t gone under the knife yet, she’s open to the idea in the future. In this age of selfies and social media, we are becoming much more conscious of how we present our image to the world, and like the rest of us, Kylie just wants to look her best.

Right now, at age 17, she says that her best look is her youthful, natural self – and who could blame her? But, plastic and cosmetic surgery does wonders for men and women who are older and want to get rid of visible signs of aging and stress with the area’s top plastic surgeons. We also offer non-surgical treatments like Botox that can quickly and easily erase wrinkles or frown lines. A facelift in Beverly Hills is also an incredibly popular way to revitalize your look by removing some excess, sagging skin and tightening the facial muscles.

So, whether you’re an A list celebrity, or just want your next Instagram selfie to shine, don’t hesitate to call the We Know Beauty plastic surgeons for a consultation today!

Embrace Your Choices

It seems that Hollywood is awash with rumors about famous celebrities and whether they have had plastic surgery or not. Jennifer Lopez is making headlines this week after taking to Twitter to defend herself against accusations from a London-based plastic surgeon, who posted suggestive plastic surgery before and after pictures of her online. Reporters took note when Renee Zellweger recently appeared at the screening of a film in Burbank, postulating that perhaps she, too, had gone under the knife. And of course, Hollywood starlet Heidi Montag (made famous for her role on The Hills), has drawn increased attention lately for having breast reduction surgery after her previous procedure had given rise to health problems.

There's nothing inherently right or wrong with the choice to have (or not have) plastic surgery. When done for the right reasons, plastic surgery can correct perceived cosmetic imperfections that have triggered real insecurities for the patient. Whatever the case, we want to know: why all the defensiveness on the part of these stars? The reactions on the part of those who are quick to deny they've had surgery implies there's something wrong with plastic surgery in the first place. There isn't. We think it's better to make an informed, healthy decision, and then embrace it fully.

The choice to have plastic surgery is life-changing. It should be made in consultation with board certified professional plastic surgeons. Cosmetic surgery isn't for everyone, and there are health risks associated with any procedure. If you are interested in learning more about the benefits and drawbacks associated with undergoing a cosmetic surgical procedure, call the top plastic surgeons at We Know Beauty today.

FDA Approves New Silicone Breast Implant

One of the most note-worthy pieces of cosmetic surgery news this week is the FDA-approval of a new cohesive silicone breast implant called Natrelle 410. This new cohesive gel implant from Allergan was approved based on a seven-year study involving 941 female participants. The FDA gave the product the green light with the expectation that Allergan conducts post-approval studies related to Natrelle 410’s safety and effectiveness.

The last time the FDA approved a silicone-based implant was March 2012. In applying these silicone implants (also called gummy bear breast implants) in their breast enhancement surgeries, the board certified plastic surgeons of We Know Beauty have experience very positive results. These form-stable implants from Sientra retain shape but strike a great balance between firm and soft for natural-looking (and feeling) breasts. These implants also demonstrate an extremely low chance of rupture/leakage.

In performing flawless breast augmentation, the medical professionals of We Know Beauty only utilize the safest products. There must be a high assurance of safety associated with an implant before it is considered for use. The health and well-being of the We Know Beauty client is of paramount significance. All surgeries are conducted by highly-skilled plastic surgeons with FDA-approved products that have been heavily researched.

If you are currently considering a breast augmentation with saline-based breast implants, have a look at the plastic surgery before and after pictures on the We Know Beauty website. The beautiful results delivered by We Know Beauty are evident in the before and after gallery.
