How many of you watch the E! reality show "Botched?" We are fascinated with the program here at our Beverly Hills plastic surgery office. The show follows self-improvers who have undergone bad plastic surgeries
as new sets of doctors try to repair butt tucks, boob jobs, and Justin
Bieberfications — yes,someone spent more than $100,000 to look like the
pop star — gone wrong. We hear that Season 2's cases will include a man who tried to
look more Asian and a woman who sought to repair damage from a
flesh-eating virus.
We are having a debate over whether this series is giving the best plastic surgeons around town a good name or a bad one. On the one hand, the show is illustrating plastic surgery gone bad. But on the other hand, they are showing great plastic surgery from the two surgeons who end up repairing the "botched" jobs. Each episode does have a happy ending by displaying a positive outcome and true transformation. So maybe it helps the plastic surgery field ;)
