A Plastic Surgeon Must Earn Your Trust

Are you positive that you can trust your board certified plastic surgeons? At We Know Beauty, you’ll have unparalleled access to your surgeon. Other plastic surgeons can be so swamped with discount operations that they don’t have time for basic ethics. The story that follows is in stark contrast to the kind of advanced care and one-on-one attention you'll get from Dr. Anous, Dr. Hodnett, Dr. Cohen, and Dr. Mandris at We Know Beauty.

Accusations are flying in San Diego. A plastic surgeon named Dr. Jeffrey P. Schaffer is under fire for alleged ethics violations. He says “They’re after me,” in interviews, referring to his patients. What “they” want, no doubt, is to know that their surgeon is the one performing their cosmetic procedures. There are a number of tasks that can be carried out by nurses and medical assistants, but the charges allege that Dr. Schaffer was leaving too much to staff members who weren’t qualified, and in the case of Dr. Schaffer , it apparently wasn’t the first time.

The San Diego Reader says the charge against Dr. Schaffer is that he violated his probation by letting a physician’s assistant prepare a patient for liposuction. What’s more, it seems Dr. Schaffer may have ignored the necessity to perform a series of medical checks before starting to operate.

At We Know Beauty, we our patients trust us with their health and safety when they allow us to operate. We take that trust very seriously. Seeking out the best plastic surgeons available should mean the ability to trust them absolutely. Find out more at www.weknowbeauty.com.
