What are Your Beauty Resolutions?

Just because our staff includes some of the best plastic surgeons in the nation doesn't mean we don't have New Year's resolutions. But what about your personal goals for 2014?

Resolutions gets a certain amount of flack around this time every year, but we think that the calendar can be a useful device for gauging our progress in all kinds of areas, including beauty. Of course, when most people think of goals having to do with how attractive we are, weight loss is by far the most common (and most challenging). However, a healthier weight should not be the only target you might think when you consider creating a new you in 2014. Many people look at other ways they can improve their appearance, from sprucing up their wardrobe, to taking a hard look at  the cosmetics they use, and seeing if any improvements can be made. Non weight-related health goals which affect our appearance, like quitting smoking and being more careful about our exposure to the sun, are also laudable.

Naturally, as board certified plastic surgeons, it's hard for us not to think about what we do. We do know that many patients unnecessarily delay having procedures they have already basically decided they want. If you're sure you'll feel better after having a plastic surgery, putting it off really only means delaying feeling better about yourself, and there's no reason for that. If you're looking for encouragement, the plastic surgery before and after pictures on our website are a good place to start.

If you've decided if 2014 is your year for a cosmetic procedure, there's no reason to procrastinate another moment. It's time to give our outstanding We Know Beauty team a call at 310-300-1500. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
